"A Closer Look" Exhibition
This exhibition, done by a group of San Jose State University graphic designers, reveals the hidden artistry within design minutiae, cultivating a profound understanding of the creative process. By offering this unique insider perspective, we aim to spark curiosity and engagement for our audience, allowing them to take a closer look at the world of graphic design.
The concept was shown through hanging layers throughout the space. Each one represents a graphic design principle (typography, color, variety, form/shape, and grid). When guests first enter, they see all of the layers put together to form the bigger picture, but once they walk through the space, they learn about all of the smaller elements that create the bigger picture.
Group Members: Sena Atesoglu, Orianna Castillo, Rachel Lam, Alex Luc, Klaudia Olmstead, and Vivian Zhao.
